Josh Korn — Engineer & Field Notes

Hi, I’m Josh.

I’m a software engineer at Microsoft. I work on the services behind Windows Organizational Messaging and Azure Communication Services.

I like building useful things and understanding the details. This is where I’ll share some of what I learn.

Senior Software Engineer

2023–present

I work on Windows Organizational Messaging and Azure Communication Services, with a focus on reliable cloud services.

Previously: Software Engineer II, 2020–2023; Software Engineer, 2017–2020. Also an intern here in 2015 and 2016.

I’m starting to write about software and the things I learn along the way. Nothing published just yet.

I’m a husband and dad, a Seahawks and WSU Cougars fan, and usually in the middle of another project.
